Congressional App Challenge
Each year, I have the opportunity to host the Congressional App Challenge for middle and high school students across Texas-24. This competition encourages participants to learn to code and looks to inspire them to pursue STEM-related careers.

Congressional Art Competition
Each spring, the U.S. House of Representatives hosts a nationwide high school Congressional Art Competition. This is a creative opportunity for students to compete and showcase their artistic talents through an original two-dimensional piece of artwork. The winning piece will be displayed for a year in the U.S. Capitol.

Elementary Art Showcase
An opportunity for elementary students to show off their burgeoning artistic abilities. Students will learn about the three branches of government and discuss how they interpret the government through their artwork.

Internships
Each year, I have the privilege of providing internships for students and recent graduates in our District office as well as our Washington D.C. office. Internships are a great way to learn more about the legislative process, acquire beneficial office skills, and contribute important work to a Congressional office.

2025 Washington, D.C. Family Fly-In
We are excited to announce that next year we will be hosting the Texas-24 Family Fly-In in April 2025.* Our nation's capital is home to some of the most iconic landmarks that represent the ideals upon which our democracy was founded. We hope your family can join us as we tour these monuments and institutions, and that this adventure inspires your kids to be compassionate leaders, dedicated to serving others in your community. On this trip, we will not only showcase the rich history of our iconic landmarks but also introduce our future leaders to the inner workings of the "People's House." Families will be responsible for travel and lodging and our team will provide tour logistics.

U.S. Service Academy Nominations
As a Member of Congress, I have the honor of nominating eligible candidates to the service academy of their choice. This program gives exceptional student leaders the opportunity to serve their country while earning a world-class education.
