Like the rest of the world, I have been appalled by Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Putin’s aggression is an act of war meant to destabilize Europe. His blatant disregard for the lives and sovereignty of an independent state show his violent ambition to reconstitute the old U.S.S.R. and plunge the world into a new Cold War.
