IRVING, TX – In the wake of the devastating violence last Wednesday and the death of two Capitol Police Officers, Rep. Beth Van Duyne (TX-24) has installed a wall of support outside her office for our Capitol Police community. Van Duyne will be displaying messages of condolence for Officers Liebengood and Sicknicks's families as well as support and encouragement for Capitol Officers and others across the nation.
 
“Our hearts break for the loss of Officers Liebengood and Sicknick’s family," said Van Duyne. "We will never forget their service or their sacrifice. In the wake of their death, I’m calling on all North Texans to join me in offering our condolences to their families and loved ones and expressing our support for the entire Capitol Police community.”

Representative Van Duyne has asked that any constituent who would like to display a message to please email PoliceAppreciationTX24@gmail.com. The messages will be displayed outside of her Washington, DC office as we honor our brave law enforcement officers.

Our of respect for these heroes and their families, we would like to ask that the messages remain positive and apolitical.
