Van Duyne Joins Texas Ag Task Force

WASHINGTON, DC – The Texas Republican Congressional Delegation today announced that Rep. Beth Van Duyne (TX-24) has joined the Texas Ag Task Force.
“Agriculture is a staple of our economy here in Texas. I look forward to working with my colleagues to advance policies that uplift Texas’ farmers, ranchers, and growers and strengthen our nation’s food supply,” said Van Duyne.
The Texas Ag Task Force will promote and champion federal policies that strengthen Texas agriculture and rural communities, engage producer groups and other key stakeholders in the state, develop pro-agriculture strategies in trade, taxation, rural development, environmental regulation, rural broadband and the 2023 Farm Bill, advocate to the USDA, EPA and other agencies within the Biden Administration. The Task Force will also work closely with other members of Congress and the top Republican of the House Agriculture Committee, Rep. G.T. Thompson.
“Agriculture is crucial to our Texas economy and way of life. These lawmakers will lead our efforts in Congress to protect farmers, ranchers and the million jobs in our state tied to agriculture,” said Reps. Kay Granger and Kevin Brady, leaders of the Texas GOP delegation.
The Texas Ag Task Force will be co-chaired by Reps. Michael Cloud, Jodey Arrington, August Pfluger, Ronny Jackson and Tony Gonzales. Other members of the Texas Ag Task Force include Reps. Michael Burgess, Louie Gohmert, Chip Roy, Pete Sessions, and Roger Williams.
