February 4, 2021
WASHINGTON, DC – House Committee on Small Business Ranking Member Blaine Luetkemeyer (R-MO) today announced that Rep. Beth Van Duyne (TX-24) will serve as Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on Oversight, Investigations, and Regulations for the 117th Congress.
“I’m thankful for the opportunity to serve as Ranking Member of the Oversight, Investigations, and Regulations Subcommittee,” said Van Duyne. “Our small businesses are suffering through no fault of their own, and now more than ever, we must ensure that taxpayer funded relief is being put into the hands of those who need it most. I’m determined to use my role as Ranking Member to champion policies that will protect our small business owners during this critical time while identifying and eliminating waste, fraud, and abuse.”
“I am eager to work alongside Subcommittee on Oversight, Investigations, and Regulations Ranking Member Beth Van Duyne to fight for pro-growth policies while reducing overreaching red tape for our nation's small businesses,” said Ranking Member Luetkemeyer. “Our committee is comprised of Republican Members from all backgrounds with one common goal: we must allow our country's small businesses to safely open their doors once again. I am looking forward to providing much needed relief to America’s hardworking men and women to ensure they have the tools and the freedom they deserve to thrive.”
